Shake off the winter chill and join the Moore County Community Band for a vibrant musical journey in our upcoming concert, “Celebrate Spring Around the World.” This performance captures the spirit of the season through a diverse global lens, taking you from the fjords of Norway with the “Valdres” march to the misty highlands of “Perthshire Majesty.” Whether you are moved by the stirring Russian choral tradition of “Salvation Is Created,” the spirited rhythms of “Cajun Folk Songs,” or the sweeping Broadway nostalgia of “South Pacific” and “Man of La Mancha,” there is a melody for every traveler. From the high-energy intensity of “Into the Storm” to the classic American pride of Sousa’s “Semper Fidelis,” this concert promises an afternoon of world-class variety and community spirit.
