Each year hundreds of dogs and cats experience kindness, comfort, and second chances under our roof. The pets in our care range widely in size, age, and personality type, and our trained staff help adopters find a pet who fits his or her personality and lifestyle.

Our willingness to help is unlimited. However, our financial resources are not. We operate solely on your generosity. No tax dollars are received. So please help our devoted staff and volunteers continue our life-saving work. Your participation enables us to find loving homes for these abandoned animals.

Fall Auction

Bethesda Presbyterian Church will hold its Fall Auction on Saturday, November 2, outside behind the Fellowship Hall. Proceeds from the auction will go toward purchasing new choir robes and disaster relief for Western North Carolina. Many items will be up for bid, including furniture, power tools, lawn equipment, appliances, home decor, baked goods, and much more! Viewing begins at 3 pm. Food will be available starting at 4 pm, including hamburgers, hot dogs, and BBQ. BBQ by the pound will also be sold. The auction will begin promptly at 5 pm.

The Veteran Golfers Association “Salute Our Veterans Weekend” is almost here! On Nov 9-11 in the Village of Pinehurst – Government there are several patriotic events to look forward to:

Nov 9 @ 3pm: 4th Annual Race of the Pines at the Pinehurst Harness Track

Nov 10 @ 5pm: Poker for Veterans at The Pinehurst Fair Barn ($10,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) seat up for grabs)

Nov 11 @ 3pm: Par 3 for Veterans at Longleaf Golf & Family Club

World Rabies Day Clinic & Pet Fair 💗🐾

Come join us at the Carolina Veterinary Hospital of Sanford, PC for a fun-filled day dedicated to our furry friends! Our event will feature a World Rabies Day Clinic where your pets can receive vaccinations to stay healthy and happy. Plus, don’t miss out on the Pet Fair where you can discover local organizations offering products, services, and maybe even adopt a new family member! It’s a paw-some event you won’t want to miss!
