Sanford residents can comment Tuesday, September 15, on a proposed grant application to support Buzzline Microtransit.
According to the City of Sanford, the hearing begins at 6 p.m. at the Municipal Center, 225 E. Weatherspoon Street. Speakers must sign up by 5:50 p.m.
The city is considering a $209,125 request to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, with a local funding match. If awarded, the grant would help fund six months of service after Buzzline’s current pilot funding ends in 2027.
