The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: A Cancer Fighter’s Song, Ridiculous 911 Calls & A Very Florida Taco Bell Incident

Today’s edition of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly featured a heartwarming show of support for a young cancer fighter, some truly unbelievable 911 calls, and a Taco Bell story that could only happen in Florida.

The Good: Iowa Schools Rally Around Young Cancer Fighter

An 11-year-old Iowa boy named Eli Belser is receiving support from schools across the state as he continues his fight against cancer.

Students at Starmont High School launched a challenge encouraging schools to post videos of students singing Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” in honor of Eli.

The song has become Eli’s fight song, inspiring students and communities to rally around him.

Even more remarkable, Eli attends a neighboring school district. Students simply wanted to show support for a young man who has been battling cancer since preschool.

The Bad: Dispatchers Share the Dumbest 911 Calls

911 dispatchers are sharing some of the most ridiculous reasons people have called emergency services.

Among the examples were a woman demanding a Whopper from Wendy’s, someone calling because they were bored and needed something to do, and a complaint about a stranger not holding a door open.

While the stories are amusing, dispatchers remind the public that unnecessary calls can tie up resources needed for genuine emergencies.

The Ugly: Florida Man Threatens to Cut Taco Bell’s Power

A bizarre incident at a Florida Taco Bell is making headlines after a shirtless man reportedly claimed he was an electrician and threatened to shut off the restaurant’s power.

Witnesses say the man became upset after being insulted inside the restaurant.

He then walked outside, and moments later there was a loud pop followed by the restaurant losing power.

The unusual chain of events has quickly become another entry in the long list of unforgettable Florida stories.
