Sandhills Guardian Foundation’s Fostering Joy Gala

1st Annual Fostering Joy Gala

Presented by Sandhills Guardian Foundation

Join us for an evening of celebration and purpose at the Fostering Joy Gala, raising funds to help children in foster care across Moore County and the Sandhills region. Your presence helps provide more than just the basics—bringing joy, comfort, and brighter futures to local children in need.

Many children enter foster care suddenly, with little time to prepare and often with nothing more than the clothes they’re wearing. While the Department of Social Services helps provide for essential needs like food, shelter, and medical care, foster families must provide the “extras” such as clothing, toys, books, school supplies, and fees for sports or extracurricular activities that help children feel valued and included.

Sandhills Guardian Foundation works to bridge the gaps not met by government assistance programs, partnering with foster families to provide more than just the basics and helping ensure our most vulnerable children can experience the same joy, opportunities, and sense of belonging as their peers.

This elegant evening will feature cocktails, a curated silent auction, a catered dinner, music, and keynote speaker Peter Mutabazi, a nationally recognized foster and adoption advocate. We’ll also honor foster parents and raise awareness of the foster care system’s impact on children and families.

Tickets are on sale now at sandhillsguardianfoundation.com, and local businesses are invited to contribute items, services, or sponsorships for the silent auction.
