Shaq Denies Sending Viral “Horny” DMs to Sabrina Carpenter: “The Diesel Has More Game”

The internet had a field day this week when screenshots of some seriously wild messages — allegedly sent by NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to pop star Sabrina Carpenter — went viral. But Shaq is hitting back hard. The story of Shaq denying the Sabrina Carpenter DMs is equal parts funny, bizarre, and very 2026.

What Were the Alleged Messages?

The screenshots made the rounds on social media and showed a series of inappropriate and over-the-top messages, purportedly sent from O’Neal to Carpenter. The content was explicit and, frankly, pretty hard to believe came from a man of Shaq’s stature — literally and figuratively.

One alleged message read: “Damn, baby. I would keep your farts in a cologne bottle and spray it on me every day.” Another claimed: “I can’t be horny and want some of that Snow Bunny kitty for myself?!” The messages were graphic enough to raise eyebrows across the internet.

Shaq Addresses the DMs on His Podcast

Rather than ignore the drama, Shaquille O’Neal tackled it head-on during an episode of his Big Podcast with Shaq. He actually read the messages aloud to his audience — and was not impressed with whoever wrote them.

“First of all, the Diesel has way more game than that,” he said, even mocking the messages in his signature deep voice for comedic effect.

His guest, rapper Jim Jones, pointed out that in today’s world of AI and deepfakes, almost anything can be made to look real online. Shaq agreed — and made it clear that no algorithm could replicate his smooth style.

Could AI Be Behind the Fake Messages?

It’s a fair question in 2026. AI-generated text, fake screenshots, and digital impersonation have become increasingly common tools used to spread misinformation and stir up drama — especially when celebrity names are involved. While neither Shaq nor his team confirmed the exact source of the fake messages, the possibility of AI involvement was raised directly on the podcast.

This is a growing concern for public figures everywhere — from Hollywood celebrities to athletes and even local community leaders right here in the Sandhills.

Sabrina Carpenter Has Not Publicly Responded

As of now, pop star Sabrina Carpenter has not made a public statement about the alleged messages or Shaq’s denial. Whether she addresses it remains to be seen — but with the internet moving at the speed it does, the story has already taken on a life of its own.

In the meantime, Shaq seems unfazed. He laughed it off, clapped back with humor, and made sure everyone knows — the Diesel’s reputation remains intact.
