Police in Aberdeen arrested a local man, James Dupree, after he was allegedly caught stealing copper wire and piping worth nearly $4,000 from a business on U.S. Highway 5. Dupree faces felony charges and was denied bond by a Moore County magistrate.

Timothy Locklear faces attempted murder and conspiracy charges, with a bond set at $150,000. Daisha Bullard was also arrested, with a $100,000 bond.
