Sandhills Adult & Teen Challenge is expanding substance abuse treatment options with the launch of a new state-licensed intensive outpatient program serving adults across the Sandhills.

The program will provide 9 to 19 hours per week of structured counseling, including individual and group therapy, relapse prevention, family support, and recovery planning.

Blending Clinical Care with Faith-Based Recovery

The new outpatient track complements Sandhills ATC’s long-standing residential programs by introducing evidence-based counseling during the early stages of recovery. Organization leaders say the expansion creates a full continuum of care.

The program will be guided by licensed clinicians, including newly appointed clinical operations director Melissa Decker, LCSW. Services are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
