Fans of the classic 1980s franchise are getting their first official glimpse at the long-awaited live-action Masters of the Universe movie — and He-Man himself is flexing into the spotlight.

Entertainment Weekly has released the first look at British actor Nicholas Galitzine in full He-Man mode in the brand-new teaser trailer. Galitzine, known for roles in Red, White & Royal Blue and The Idea of You, takes on the iconic mantle of the Prince of Eternia who transforms into the “most powerful man in the universe.”

Directed by Travis Knight (Bumblebee, Kubo and the Two Strings) and produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films, Masters of the Universe brings the beloved toy line and animated world to life with a star-studded cast. Alongside Galitzine, the film features Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, and Jared Leto as the nefarious Skeletor, among others.

The teaser gives fans a taste of the epic fantasy world of Eternia, showcasing the Power Sword and the struggle between He-Man and Skeletor’s forces — blending nostalgic visuals with modern blockbuster energy.

After years of development and buzz, Masters of the Universe is scheduled to hit theaters June 5, 2026 — promising action, adventure, and a fresh cinematic take on the characters that defined a generation.

Whether you grew up with the original cartoon or are new to the mythos, this teaser has fans buzzing about one of 2026’s most anticipated fantasy films.
