Dress comfortably and enjoy delicious food, drinks, and entertainment while making a difference in your community. Hosted at the Pinehurst Fair Barn, this year’s “Rock’n in the Pines” offers a fun and casual atmosphere where guests can enjoy an evening out while learning about the impact of their support for local hunger relief efforts. The event will feature a grazing table with fresh ingredients from The Debonair Chef; signature cocktails crafted by The Gentleman Mobile Bar; and live music by The Main Event Band. All funds remain in the Sandhills area, supporting the Food Bank’s local network of more than 80 no-cost markets, food pantries, meal sites, and delivery programs.

Our home is the beautiful and historic Village of Pinehurst, located in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Known as the home of American golf and the longleaf pine ecosystem, its temperate climate makes gardening a popular activity.

Moore Philharmonic Orchestra presents Sound of Symphony

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we close out our 20th season. This unique concert
will feature timeless classics including Beethoven’s powerful “Egmont Overture”, the
whimsical “Orpheus in the Underworld”, “Pictures at an Exhibition, Holst’s majestic
“Jupiter” and an exciting original composition by Director Eric Kopecky.
An exciting concert lineup, sure to be enjoyed!

The Moore Philharmonic Orchestra features a full symphonic ensemble of advanced
students and adult community members, highlighting its focus on community
involvement. Admission is donation-based; any amount is graciously appreciated.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to purchase tickets for the Annual Spring Raffle.
In addition to the spring raffle, we will also have a “painted violin” silent auction.

Southern Pines Elks Lodge 1692 is hosting the local round of the Elks Hoop Shoot, We had a girl advance to the National Finals 2 years ago.

Discover your favorite teapot on a driving tour through Seagrove.  Enjoy a tea tasting experience as you shop hop within 5 miles along NC Pottery Highway. 
Enjoy a hot cup of tea at this Spring event.  Featured pottery for this event includes teapots and cups. Enjoy tea tasting experience at Blue Hen Pottery, Dean and Martin Pottery, Eck McCanless Pottery, From the Ground Up, Red Hare Pottery and Thomas Pottery.
Each shop will have homemade treats and samples from The Table and Seagrove Cafe and tea samples from Carriage House Tea.
Shops will feature everything you need to serve tea. Shops are open 10-5 and are located along the NC Pottery Highway 705 and adjoining roads. Pick up a tea brochure and map at your first stop.
