Reacher Star Alan Ritchson Off the Hook — Bodycam Tells All

If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like when someone picks a fight with a guy built like a Marvel superhero — well, Reacher star Alan Ritchson’s neighbor found out the hard way. Ritchson will NOT be facing any charges after a physical altercation with his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, because police determined Ritchson was acting in self-defense. Here’s the twist though — Ritchson was wearing a bodycam when it all went down, and that footage made it crystal clear who threw the first punch. Spoiler: it wasn’t the guy who bench presses small cars for a living. Taylor wasn’t charged either, since Ritchson chose not to pursue it. Case closed. Lesson learned. Don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing.

Zendaya’s New Movie Has People Talking — And Not Just Because It’s Good

Zendaya’s upcoming dark rom-com The Drama — co-starring Robert Pattinson — doesn’t even hit theaters until next week, but it’s already generating serious controversy. Early viewers are reacting to a major plot twist: Zendaya’s character confesses to her fiancé that she once planned a school shooting — but backed out at the last moment. Now, Tom Mauser — whose son Daniel was killed in the 1999 Columbine massacre — is speaking out, telling TMZ he’s disgusted that a school shooting storyline was used as a romantic plot device. He also felt that Zendaya appeared to laugh off the twist during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! — while Kimmel himself seemed far more sensitive to how it might land with viewers. Mauser’s concern? That framing this kind of story inside a rom-com starring one of Hollywood’s most beloved actresses risks normalizing and humanizing school shooters. A24, the studio behind the film, has not yet responded. This one is going to be a conversation long after opening weekend.

J-Lo’s Vegas Show Gets Awkward — His Name Was BEN

Jennifer Lopez is deep into her Las Vegas residency, bringing fans onstage, dancing, living her best life — and then a guy named Ben had to go and ruin the vibe. When J-Lo called the fan up and asked his name, the second he said “Ben,” she hit him with a full-on “Ugh!” and a sour face that the entire arena caught. For those who need a refresher — her ex-husband is Ben Affleck, and their very public divorce was not exactly a fairytale ending. She did laugh it off and took the fan behind a curtain, so no feelings were actually hurt. But the moment is all over the internet this morning and honestly? It’s the most relatable thing J-Lo has ever done. We’ve all had a name that makes us make that face. Hers just happens to be very, very famous.
