Moore County Substation Attack Investigation Remains Active

Nearly three years after the Moore County power grid attack that left 45,000 residents and businesses without electricity for days, Sheriff Ronnie Fields assures the public that the investigation is still active and thorough. The December 2022 attack damaged two Duke Energy substations and led to the tragic death of a Pinehurst woman dependent on medical equipment. Authorities continue to follow leads, with a $100,000 reward available for information leading to an arrest. Details of the ongoing case remain largely confidential as state and federal partners collaborate to bring those responsible to justice.

Robbins Approves Sixth Straight Property Tax Rate Decrease and New Chicken Ordinance
