Steven Spielberg says his ‘Disclosure Day’ is too real to be called science fiction

Is Steven Spielberg Hinting at Something Bigger with “Disclosure Day”?

Could Steven Spielberg’s latest film be more than just science fiction?

The legendary filmmaker has sparked plenty of online speculation following the release of the trailer for his upcoming movie, Disclosure Day. In the trailer, Spielberg tells viewers that humanity may be facing “the most extraordinary event in human history,” a statement that has fueled theories across social media.

Some fans believe the movie could be preparing audiences for a real-world revelation about extraterrestrial life. Comments online range from “The timing isn’t a coincidence” to “This feels like a soft launch for actual disclosure.”

Of course, there’s no evidence that Disclosure Day is connected to any real announcement. Still, when the director behind classics like E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind starts talking about extraordinary events and things being “true,” people tend to pay attention.

Whether it’s a brilliant marketing campaign or simply a thought-provoking science fiction film, Spielberg has certainly accomplished one thing: getting everyone talking.

Disclosure Day arrives in theaters June 12.
