SEAGROVE, N.C. — A 67-year-old man is facing drug and firearm charges following a search of a residence in northern Moore County.
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said detectives executed a search warrant August 19 at a home in the 2500 block of West Chrisco Road in the Seagrove area.
Authorities reported seizing suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm during the search.
Charles Comer was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Comer was taken to the Moore County Detention Center and placed under a $10,000 secured bond. His next appearance in Moore County District Court is scheduled for September 2.
The investigation was conducted by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
All charges are allegations. Comer is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
