Drugs, Firearm and Stolen U-Haul Seized During Robbins Search

A Robbins man is facing multiple charges after Moore County sheriff’s detectives reportedly discovered suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and a stolen U-Haul trailer during a residential search.

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office said detectives executed a search warrant Tuesday, Aug. 5, at a residence in the 100 block of Sunset Place in Robbins.

Deputies Report Multiple Seizures

According to the sheriff’s office, investigators seized an undisclosed amount of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while searching the property.

Detectives also reportedly recovered a firearm and a U-Haul trailer that authorities said had been reported stolen.

The sheriff’s office has not released additional information about the investigation that led to the search warrant. Authorities also did not disclose where the trailer was reported stolen or how long it had been missing.

Robbins Man Faces Four Charges

Detectives arrested 66-year-old Charles Prince Jr. of Robbins following the search.

Prince was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

He was taken to the Moore County Detention Center and received a $40,500 secured bond. Prince is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Aug. 27.

Investigation Continues in Moore County

The reported seizure is the latest drug-related enforcement action announced by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office. Additional information could become available as the investigation continues and the charges proceed through the court system.

All charges against Prince are allegations. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
