Richmond County law agencies receive contributions from Back the Blue ride

Local law enforcement in Richmond and Scotland counties are getting a holiday boost thanks to the annual Back the Blue motorcycle ride. Organizers Chris and Judy Jackson delivered $16,000 in donations to five departments, including Rockingham, Hamlet, and Laurinburg police — plus the Richmond and Scotland County sheriffs. The funds will help support Shop with a Cop and Shop with a Deputy programs, ensuring more children in need have a joyful Christmas.
