Pinewild Clubhouse Renovation: $18 Million Investment

Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst has officially begun construction on a massive $18 million clubhouse renovation, marking a major investment in private club living and residential lifestyle in the Sandhills.

Construction began in mid-December 2025 and is scheduled to be completed in early 2027. The 26,000-square-foot clubhouse will become the social and cultural center of the Pinewild community.

The new facility will include a signature restaurant, private dining rooms, a 150-seat ballroom, expanded locker rooms and fitness facilities, new retail spaces for golf and tennis, and a back patio with firepits overlooking the 18th hole.

Pinewild leaders say the project reflects Pinehurst’s growing reputation as a full-time residential destination, not just a vacation spot. Travel + Leisure recently named Pinehurst the safest and wealthiest place to retire in 2025.

Pinewild is a gated private club community offering 48 holes of golf along with tennis, aquatics, and year-round member programming.
