Major Budget Items
The agreement includes additional funding for a new children’s hospital in Apex and a higher tax rate for online sports betting operators.
One proposal not included is public funding for a potential Major League Baseball stadium in Raleigh.

The North Carolina House and Senate are expected to vote this week before sending the budget to Governor Josh Stein.
