FirstHealth Whispering Pines Wellness Center Expands Preventive Care Services

The new FirstHealth Whispering Pines Wellness Center is set to bring expanded health, wellness, and recovery services to residents throughout Moore County and the Sandhills. Beginning June 29, FirstHealth Concierge Medicine and FirstHealth Functional Medicine will relocate to a new facility at 401 Capital Drive in Whispering Pines.

The move not only creates a larger space for personalized healthcare programs but also introduces advanced wellness services that have become increasingly popular among people focused on prevention, recovery, and long-term health.

FirstHealth Whispering Pines Wellness Center Adds New Wellness Options

The expanded facility will offer several new services designed to help individuals better understand and improve their overall health.

Among the additions is the InBody 380 body composition scanner, which provides detailed information about muscle mass, body fat percentage, hydration levels, and overall body composition.

The location will also feature a MECOTEC whole-body cryotherapy chamber. Cryotherapy exposes the body to extremely cold temperatures for short periods and is often used to support recovery, reduce inflammation, and relieve muscle soreness.

An infrared sauna will also be available to promote relaxation, circulation, and wellness.

Personalized Healthcare Remains a Focus

FirstHealth Concierge Medicine provides members with a more personalized healthcare experience, including extended appointments, same-day scheduling, preventive care planning, and direct access to providers.

Memberships also include additional wellness benefits such as nutrition counseling, fitness support, and massage therapy.

The Functional Medicine program focuses on identifying and addressing root causes of health concerns. Providers work with patients experiencing issues such as fatigue, digestive disorders, hormone imbalances, stress, sleep concerns, inflammation, and healthy aging goals.

Both programs are designed for individuals seeking a more proactive approach to healthcare.

Services Available to the Community

One unique aspect of the new location is that many wellness services will be available to the general public, not just program members.

Community members will have access to cryotherapy sessions, infrared sauna treatments, and body composition scans through individual purchases.

FirstHealth officials say the goal is to expand access to preventive health resources and create a destination focused on wellness and long-term health outcomes.

Future Growth Planned

The facility is expected to continue growing later this year when FirstHealth Cardiology opens at the same location.

By bringing primary care, preventive services, wellness programs, and specialty care together, FirstHealth hopes to create a convenient healthcare destination for residents throughout Whispering Pines, Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, and surrounding Sandhills communities.
