Highway Patrol Identifies Woman Killed in West End Rollover Crash

A woman from the Eagle Springs area was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash near West End, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

Crash Reported Near Beulah Hill Church Road

The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. near Beulah Hill Church Road and Dormie Drive. Highway Patrol identified the driver as 61-year-old Angela Rouse, the only person inside the Ford F-150.

Troopers said the pickup left the roadway before Rouse overcorrected and lost control. The vehicle overturned several times, and she was ejected.

Highway Patrol Investigates

Highway Patrol said speed contributed to the crash and that Rouse was not wearing a seat belt. Authorities temporarily blocked access to the area while investigators documented the scene and crews removed the wreckage.
