An Eagle Springs drug arrest has resulted in five charges following the execution of a search warrant at a home on Possum Holler Road.
According to information released by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, detectives searched a home in the 500 block of Possum Holler Road in Eagle Springs.
During the search, investigators reported seizing suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, codeine, and drug paraphernalia.
Five Charges Filed Following Search
Heather Locklear, 65, of Eagle Springs, was arrested following the search.
She was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following the Eagle Springs drug arrest, Locklear was placed under a 48-hour hold without bond.
She is scheduled to appear in court on July 22.
The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
The case is one of two recent search-warrant operations announced by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office involving suspected controlled substances in the western portion of Moore County.
