Dylan Garner Death Investigation Underway Near Aberdeen

The Dylan Garner death investigation remains active after authorities discovered the body of the Carthage resident in a wooded area near Aberdeen.

According to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Reservation Road Sunday morning after receiving a call about a person in the area.

Body Discovered Near Aberdeen

When deputies arrived, they located a deceased male in the woods.

With assistance from the Aberdeen Police Department, investigators identified the man as Dylan Garner of Carthage.

Officials say Garner’s family has been notified.

Investigation Continues

Authorities have released limited information while the investigation remains ongoing.

The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office said it is committed to releasing verified information while protecting the integrity of the case.

No cause of death or additional circumstances have been released.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office.
