Four families are mourning after four people were killed in separate Fayetteville shootings over an eight-day period.
According to ABC11, the shootings occurred between September 25 and October 3. Fayetteville police said investigators have found no evidence indicating that the cases are connected.
Arrests Announced in Two Cases
Police have charged 27-year-old Corey Beckford with first-degree murder and conspiracy in the September 25 shooting death of 21-year-old Shawn Williams Jr. at a Cedar Creek Road convenience store.
Eighteen-year-old Ladarrius Blacknall has been charged with first-degree murder in the October 1 shooting death of 20-year-old Jordan Shiquan Brown on Cliffdale Road.
The charges are allegations. Both defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
Two Investigations Remain Open
Andrew Brown, 34, was found shot on Amanda Circle on September 30 and later died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Police have not announced an arrest in that investigation.
Officers found 32-year-old Antonio Felton Williams Jr. fatally shot inside a Bain Drive home on October 3. That case also remains under investigation.
