The Carolina Horse Park Foundation has received a $1.15 million gift from the estate of longtime supporter Faith Caldwell.
Foundation leaders described the contribution as transformational and said it ranks among the largest gifts in the park’s history.
Gift supports park’s long-term future
The foundation says the money will strengthen the park’s long-term financial position while supporting its work to preserve open land, promote equestrian sport and serve the surrounding community.
A detailed allocation for the gift has not been announced. Foundation officials said it will be used to support the park’s future while honoring Caldwell’s legacy.
Regional equestrian destination
Carolina Horse Park encompasses approximately 317 acres in Hoke County. It hosts competitions, clinics, educational programs and community activities while drawing riders, trainers, spectators and equestrian organizations from across the country.
