The train will depart Raleigh Union Station at 7:50 a.m. and stop in Cary before arriving in Southern Pines at approximately 9:18 a.m.
Passengers will then continue on to Rockingham Speedway, arriving just before 10 a.m.
After the event, the train will depart Rockingham at 6:35 p.m., stopping again in Southern Pines before returning to Raleigh.

NASCAR Returns to The Rock
The special rail service coincides with NASCAR’s return to Rockingham Speedway, often referred to by fans as “The Rock.”
The speedway has long been a beloved destination for racing fans across North Carolina and the Southeast.
Tickets for the train cost $25 each way and must be purchased in advance through Amtrak’s website.
Passengers can expect comfortable seating, WiFi, and charging outlets on board.
Transportation officials say the train is designed to make it easier for fans across the Triangle and the Sandhills to attend major events.
For local race fans in Southern Pines, Pinehurst, and Aberdeen, it offers a rare chance to step on a train and arrive directly at the speedway.
