If no listener correctly predicts the champion, one grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.

• Multiple or automated entries may be disqualified at the station’s discretion.

Official Rules

A complete copy of these rules is available at Star1025FM.com or by contacting WIOZ, 200 Short Street, Southern Pines, NC 28387 during normal business hours.

By entering, participants agree to the following:

1. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

2. Eligibility

The Road to the Championship promotion is open to legal U.S. residents of the Star 102.5 listening area (as defined by Nielsen Audio), age 18 or older at the time of entry.

Entrants may not have won a prize from Star 102.5 in the last 30 days or a prize valued at $500 or more in the last six (6) months.

Employees of WIOZ, Muirfield Broadcasting, Lavish Furniture of Southern Pines, and their immediate family or household members are not eligible to participate.

3. Contest Period

The contest begins at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Entries must be received before the start of the national tournament. Late entries will not be accepted.

Star 102.5 reserves the right to extend or modify the Contest Period if necessary.

4. How to Enter

Listeners may enter by completing the official Road to the Championship entry form at Star1025FM.com.

To enter, participants must select the team they predict will win the national championship and submit all required contact information.

Limit one (1) entry per person for the duration of the promotion.

Multiple entries, use of fake names, automated systems, or attempts to bypass entry limits will result in disqualification at the station’s sole discretion.

Submitting an entry does not guarantee a prize.

5. How the Winner Is Determined

At the conclusion of the national championship game:

• All eligible entrants who correctly selected the championship-winning team will be entered into a random drawing.
• One (1) grand prize winner will be selected at random from all correct entries.

If no entrant correctly selects the national champion, one (1) grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

All decisions made by Star 102.5 are final.

6. Prize

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded:

• A recliner provided by Lavish Furniture of Southern Pines.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): To be determined.

No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent is permitted unless determined by Star 102.5 in its sole discretion.

Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. If prize value equals or exceeds $600, winner will receive an IRS Form 1099.

7. Winner Notification & Verification

The winner will be notified within three (3) business days following the championship game.

Winner must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification and may be required to complete:

• An eligibility affidavit
• A liability release
• A publicity release

Failure to respond or complete required documentation may result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Publicity

By entering, participants grant Star 102.5, Muirfield Broadcasting, and Lavish Furniture of Southern Pines permission to use their name, voice, photograph, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. Release of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless:

• Star 102.5 (WIOZ)
• Muirfield Broadcasting, Inc.
• Lavish Furniture of Southern Pines
• Their respective employees, officers, directors, and affiliates

from any liability, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance/use of the prize.

10. General Conditions

Star 102.5 reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the contest.

Any attempt to manipulate entries or interfere with the promotion will result in disqualification.

Star 102.5’s decisions regarding all aspects of the contest are final.

11. Privacy

Information collected during entry may be used by Star 102.5 and Muirfield Broadcasting for marketing and promotional purposes in accordance with station privacy policies.
