The Moore County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in connection with a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday morning in the Seven Lakes community.
Authorities say 24-year-old Lyrical Yes’mean Tanner of West End is facing multiple felony charges following a robbery at the Truist Bank just before 11 a.m. Investigators report that a female suspect entered the bank, demanded money, and claimed to have a firearm before fleeing on foot with cash.
Through quick investigative work and information gathered at the scene, deputies identified Tanner as the suspect and located her shortly before 1 p.m. She was taken into custody without incident.
Tanner has been charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony possession of stolen goods, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and one count of possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance. During the arrest, investigators recovered a BB gun along with cash believed to have been taken during the robbery.
She is currently being held at the Moore County Detention Center without bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on January 7, 2026.
Officials remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
