About Caring Hearts for Canines

Caring Hearts for Canines is a Moore County–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization dedicated to saving dogs from high-kill shelters and helping them find loving homes. Since its founding, the organization has helped thousands of dogs get a second chance at life through rescue, foster care, medical treatment, and adoption.

North Carolina continues to face a high number of stray animals and shelter overcrowding, making the work of local rescues more important than ever. Caring Hearts for Canines plays a critical role in giving these dogs the care and support they need to thrive.

How You Can Help

Whether you’re ready to adopt or simply want to support their mission, there are several ways to get involved:

  • Adopt a dog and give them a loving forever home
  • Foster and provide temporary care for dogs in need
