Statement from Moore County Schools;
 
NC Governor Roy Cooper has decided that NC schoos will reopen this Fall using the "Plan B" which requires moderate social distancing with up to 50% capacity at school facilities.   Students in grades K-8 will attend school one day per week. High schools will operate remotely for most courses.  (scroll down for more information)

Moore County Schools is offering a 100 percent virtual remote learning opportunity for all students for the fall 2020 semester. Entitled “Connect!,” information about the virtual remote learning option can be found at www.ncmcs.org/connect. To enroll in this option, visit www.ncmcs.org/connectregistration. Enrollment will open at 6 p.m. today and continue through Thursday, July 23.

A transportation request form is currently available at www.ncmcs.org/transportationrequest if you wish to have bus transportation for the 2020-2021 school year. Please complete this form for each child in your household who will require transportation. Deadline for completing the form is Sunday, July 19. If you are unable to access the internet, please call the Transportation Department at 910-947-5481 to make your request.

The meal distribution program for Moore County children has been extended through July 30. Meal distribution will continue at the current locations and times from Monday through Thursday with double meals provided on Thursdays.
